July 4th Memorial—Highland Park, IL
Still Here, Still Growing, & Still Hoping
July 4th is a universally beloved holiday, a time where everyone celebrates the beginning of our country as well as the foundational values that have brought us to where we are today. Of course, this date carries a little more weight here in Highland Park after the tragedy of 2022.
When Dr. Jessica Cohen started our practice, her goal was to not just serve individual patients, but uplift the community as a whole. After last year, that love and support has been more necessary than ever.
Dr. Cohen and our entire team offer our deepest condolences to the victims’ families and the prolonged hardship that day caused. Just because the story is out of the news does not mean it is out of people’s hearts.
Now in 2023, we should all feel a tremendous amount of hope thanks to how our streets have shown resilience over the past year—people have come together to help their neighbors heal and feel safe again. Despite the challenges we’ve all experienced, we’ve continued to grow and evolve as a community, and we intend to keep doing our part here at our practice.
From Dr. Jessica Cohen and the rest of our team, we hope you have a happy, safe, and celebratory Independence Day this year and every year to come.
